Die Bedeutung der Wälder für Großstädte wie Berlin steht hier im Fokus. Der Film fängt die Ruhe und die ästhetische Schönheit des Waldes ein und beleuchtet subtil, die Bedeutung sowohl als Ruheoase als auch als wichtiger klimatischer Faktor für Großstädte. Das Projekt zielt darauf ab, durch stimmungsvolle und ruhige Aufnahmen des Waldes, eine meditative und reflektierende Stimmung auszulösen. Die visuelle Reise lädt dazu ein, die scheinbar unbedeutenden Details der Natur neu zu entdecken und zu schätzen, die im hektischen Stadtleben oft übersehen werden.

Die Szenen im Film scheinen zunächst Oberflächen wie Laub, Baumstämme, oder Moose zu zeigen, der Zuschauer muss die Feinheiten selber entdecken: Ameisen, die durchs Unterholz krabbeln, Fliegen, die surren, Mücken, die im Wind tanzen, Käfern, die Flugversuche unternehmen, und Federn, die sanft im Laub liegen. Lichtspiele auf dem Laub, Sonnenstrahlen, die durch das Blätterdach brechen, und Schattenspiele im Unterholz schaffen eine besondere Atmosphäre. Begleitet wird dies von Naturgeräuschen wie dem Rauschen des Windes in den Bäumen, Vogelgezwitscher und dem seltenen Summen von Insekten. Es wird auf detaillierte Nahaufnahmen konzentrieren, um die Zuschauer in die Mikroebene des Waldes zu führen. Das Fokussieren auf die Lichtspiele und ästhetischen Effekte des Sonnenlichts im Wald, fangen Geräusche und Bewegungen ein, die die Lebendigkeit und Ruhe des Waldes betonen.

The focus here is on the importance of forests for big cities like Berlin. The film captures the tranquility and aesthetic beauty of the forest and subtly highlights its importance both as an oasis of calm and as an important climatic factor for large cities. The project aims to evoke a meditative and reflective mood through atmospheric and tranquil shots of the forest. The visual journey invites us to rediscover and appreciate the seemingly insignificant details of nature that are often overlooked in hectic city life.
The scenes in the film initially appear to show surfaces such as foliage, tree trunks or moss; the viewer has to discover the subtleties for themselves: Ants crawling through the undergrowth, flies buzzing, midges dancing in the wind, beetles attempting flight, and feathers lying gently in the foliage. The play of light on the leaves, the sun’s rays breaking through the canopy and the shadows in the undergrowth create a special atmosphere. This is accompanied by natural sounds such as the rustling of the wind in the trees, birdsong and the rare buzzing of insects. It will focus on detailed close-ups to take viewers into the micro-level of the forest. Focusing on the play of light and aesthetic effects of sunlight in the forest, capturing sounds and movements that emphasize the vibrancy and tranquility of the forest.
The forest is presented as a retreat that offers city dwellers the opportunity to escape the stress of everyday life and immerse themselves in the tranquility and beauty of nature. The variety of small details, from insects to plays of light, highlights the rich biodiversity of the forest and shows how every element, no matter how small, contributes to the totality of the ecosystem.
